IdeateApps

IdeateApps is a set of Revit applications designed to increase the productivity of the entire project team. Developed with specific tasks in mind, these tools address the challenges identified most often by Ideate Software customers who use Revit software every day.

With the development of IdeateApps, Revit applications, we created eight new tools and made them easily accessible from the Ideate Software tab in your Revit files:

• Ideate ReNumber expedites a variety of numbering and some naming tasks for almost any Revit model element. You can use it to renumber any element by selection, path, or auto-update method, and it includes built-in renumbering rules and customisable rule.
• Ideate XRay answers the question, "Why can't I see the Revit element in this view?" It includes more than 50 reasons an element can be invisible, identifies the reason the element is invisible, and can fix the problem or provide instructions on how you can fix it.
• Ideate SmartDelete gives you pause before completing your request to delete elements. It alerts you to potential unseen dangers related to the deletion process, such as other elements that will be deleted with the selected elements.
• Ideate QuickSelect enables you to quickly select and zoom to elements within the Revit project, template or family file. Find and select elements based on Category, Family, or Type name. Open them in any view, even when the element is not visible.
• Ideate SpellCheck verifies the spelling of Text and Schedule elements within a Revit project file. Use this app to check all open Sheets and Views, Sheets in a Sheet List, and all Schedules, as well as the spelling in many languages not covered in Revit.
• Ideate Align enables you to align a view on one Sheet with a View on another or many other Sheets. You can align all Plan Views in a set so they will synchronise perfectly across all Sheets.
• Ideate Clone - there’s no need to spend valuable time recreating Sheets with Views. This new app can automate the process and match the title block family, any title block parameters, sheet parameters, and project browser file locations, reducing the chance of errors and simplifying your work.
• Ideate SheetManager lets you filter Sheet and View lists, create Sheets, and place Views onto Sheets. Eliminate hours spent scrolling through the Project Browser with this powerful search engine.
• Ideate ViewCreator allows you to batch-create multiple Revit views while complying with company-established BIM standards. You can also create multiple Revit views at the same time, based on smart rules and create copies of plans from one level to many levels.
