Symetri & Sweco Architects launch the first Revit add-in for Nordic Landscape Architects

Customised for Nordic Landscape Architects
Naviate Site & Landscaping is designed to help Nordic Landscape Architects work more efficient when handling building information models (BIM) and landscape information models (LIM) in Revit – as they get an environment fully customised to their needs including content, tools and workflows. Naviate Site & Landscaping will save users valuable time, when creating good and sustainable design around buildings.

Developed in corporation with Sweco Architects
The Revit add-in is developed by Symetri’s Revit specialists together with customer reference groups. Sweco Architects has been heavily involved in the development of the application and the design of the project template files - which contains Nordic features, symbols and line styles as well as plants and trees. Pre-sets and standard configurations are well thought through and designed to provide optimal working methodologies and a smoother working experience.

“At Sweco Architects, consolidating our creative disciplines into a united and integrated 3D workflow has been a priority in our digital strategy. We believe that Naviate Site & Landscaping will become a fundamental transition-tool, and will ensure an easier process where we can benefit from the synergies of our multidisciplinary approach. Our ambition is to be on the forefront pushing the digital development, and we are grateful we can tap into Symetri´s expertise to achieve this,”
says Christian Bøcker Sørensen & William Celliers from Sweco Architects, Denmark

Fully integrated into the Revit platform

Naviate Site & Landscaping is fully integrated into the Revit platform and enhances the collaboration possibilities offered by BIM. This naturally applies to the objects included for 2D and 3D design. Concepts like the level of detail and material definitions follow common standards.
